Ben Franklin Taproom and Grille. Do you like Prime Rib? Thick juicy delicious medium rare Prime Rib? You can almost taste it when you look at the picture. With au jus, and a baked potato with melty butter? Ben Franklin Taproom has them, really really good thick ones. And I can get rare. You know how hard it is to find rare Prime Rib anywhere? The salad was nice. But check the onion soup, I’m calling it a “crock” of onion soup, because “crock” sounds good. And that onion soup was good, really good. I rarely get onion soup because if it comes out just warm, and the cheese isn’t fully melted slightly browned and dripping down the side of the “crock” (!), I just get irked. This place, serves the onion soup just short of boiling hot. And look at that cheese stretch. Did I mention I love onion soup, when it’s done right? Sit at the bar if you’re alone, or with someone. It’s a friendly bunch. And you haven’t seen a bar this nice in many places at all. Wide and wooden and really sharp looking. Like 20 beers on tap, and not a PBR in the bunch. That Pabst fad is pretty much over with by now. Oh and a great patio, a BIG patio, in back. Just a pleasant little drive to get there, and just a great spot to be on a warm day on the patio with your favorite libation. Cheers!

Very, very good food. So many good choices. The fries are perfect, and the whole restaurant is gorgeous. Very nice inside.

Our party was met by a friendly hostess. The table wasn’t quite ready do they say us at the bar where we engaged with a smiling bartender who recommended beers of our individual tastes, very accommodating! Once our table was ready and were shown to it. Drinks were offered and appetizers ordered. We settled in and the drinks were refreshingly delicious with the Bavarian pretzels salty with a nice crisp exterior. Several ordered food and it’s was brought in a timely fashion (pictures below)

My wife and I decided to eat here for her birthday. We were not disappointed. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip—-best we’ve ever had. I got the open face meatloaf and my wife ordered the steak sandwich. Portions were large, enough to eat a second meal. Flavor combinations were excellent. Everything about our experience was excellent. We definitely will be back. We also will recommend this establishment.

We have been eating here for 4 years. Very close to bike trails, so we stop to eat after. The employees are the same fantastic people each time which says something about management. Plus the food is fantastic! Nothing left from the best ribs on the planet!

We came here with my dad as this is his favorite place, and when he's at camp, he has dinner here W-S. I had the pulled pork Mac and Cheese, which was mouthwatering delicious. The flavor and juices from the pork paired well with the Mac and Cheese. I also had the New York style cheese cake with chocolate and strawberry drizzle, which was also very tasteful and flavorful. Our waitress was amazing, she took her time and explained everything, even when I asked her to repat the desert menu as they all sounded amazing. The service and atmosphere here are great. The only thing I didn't care for was the music. (Sorry, I'm a metal head. ) I did not let that interrupt the evening with my dad and my girlfriend. If you're ever passing by this place and are hungry, give this place a try! 9/10!

Justin was probably one of the nicest bartenders I've ever met. Food was bangin' Meatloaf Sliders, Mashed with Bacon Gravy?? Yes please! Wedding soup some of the best I've ever had! Great beer and cocktail selection. Cool place right off the side of the road. Don't miss this one!!

The was our first time at Ben Franklin’s. The food was excellent - I highly recommend the open face meatloaf sandwich. Service was fast and friendly. Great atmosphere in a clean and tastefully decorated place.
